But the big-serving Croat has yet to
show the same form in the senior tournament.
In five attempts at SW19, he has never
made it past the second round.
His overall Grand Slam record is not
much better, going just one step further
at the US Open and Australian Open.
The 26-year-old has been the perpetual
bridesmaid this season, reaching finals
in Rotterdam, Doha, Dubai and Marseille
but leaving all four events empty-handed.
Recently though, Ljubicic has become
something of a national hero after battling
past Andy Roddick in the Davis Cup to
give Croatia a sensational win over
the US.
